Resources for the program officially expired on the weekend due to the budget standoff, now in its thirty-fourth day with no clear signal of resolution.
Judicial Developments

Implementation Hurdles

- Some states have warned it will take time or even longer periods to provide benefits to low-income families.
- Crowds have been observed at charities across the United States.
- In various locations, public facility parking lots were transformed into help locations.
Local Emergency Measures
Multiple states, including New York, Oregon, and Virginia, issued emergency declarations to provide short-term money for support. However, these sums were anticipated to be a small portion of the regular government funding.
